I'm considering adding a spreader light when I pull SL for the winter this year. Has anyone done this? Is it worth it? How did you run power to it? I'd just as soon not drill another hole in my roof if I can.

I have the standard deck light fixture which I'd like to upgrade to LED if that's possible. Maybe I can get what I want by simply upgrading the deck light.

If you are considering spreader lights you might want to check out this link.

Do you need more light? If you do then why not wire the spreader lights to the deck light and you wont need any additional wires through the deck.
