My Woman left me, my dog died, the roof leaks, and the truck is making a funny noise. It all started when my Grlfrnd wanted me to name the boat Leaky. Hmmmm......

We never went through with the official boat naming ceremony, so it ain't so. I reckon I'm in the market for another boat name.

Inconceivable?

Lucy wouldn't do?
How about selling the signage to a local business. Popeye's would be a good fit. (Why don't they sell spinach with their chicken?)

Maybe <i>Lucky</i> would work better...

&lt; Lucky &gt;

I don't think so. I'm leaning toward "Inconceivable" as a working title for the time being. Maybe something else will come along. In the mean time I'll work on the boat and see if I can make some progress through the winter.

Being that it is a sailboat and needs wind, the working name that's been tossed around a lot around here is "Blow Me" with a picture of a cloud blowing wind.

Sounds like a good way to get run aground. Anger Neptune and he may have his way with you...

How about "C.W.SONG" for a name
I bet you miss the dog.

"Moving Forward" might be nice, but I'm afraid it might be more like "Rattle and Hum".

There's always "Vizini". But if you're not a Princess Bride fan this might not work.

What do you get when you play a country song backwards? You get your truck back, your dog back, and your woman back.

"Play It Backwards"

I'm also listing toward "The Squeeze"
as in: "Sometimes, the Juice just isn't worth the Squeeze"

Too many bad vibes in your names, Ray... Wait till you're in a better mood and then think about some favorite songs, books, movies, food,... It's a <i>happy</i> place!

[/There is a boat in our area called “ LOVE LETTER” The graphics display this term of endearment with a bullet slicing through it . I think there may have been some issues with his former. I’m not suggesting any thing like that for you, but how about “I GOT THE BOAT”

A comment about "Lucky". Found a sign in my neighborhood posted on the telephone pole which said . . .

LOST: Three legged dog with one ear bit off, gimpy and constipated, answers to the name "Lucky". 'Nuff said?

I went to a boat naming website (there are many) and number 1 has to be "Spin Drift", followed by "Summer Wind", "Dog Days", "Sunk Costs" and "Dream Boat". My dockmates have "At Last" and "On the road again".

Take a look at Boat US's site at: http://www.boatus.com/boatgraphics/names/Anames.asp or
Name That Boat: http://www.namethatboat.com/popular-boat-names.htm

Good luck.
