So Jonathan, Do what I did to get the boat to me in the first place. Hire someone to tow it. Since its empty pretty much anything will tow the trailer. I found my company by Googling boat transport. Came up with www.uship.com. Money well spent.

I'm too embarrassed to disclose how many miles we drove to bring our new trailer to Pittsburgh from Santa Ana . . . and how many more miles we will drive to bring the boat from Marshfield, MA to Pittsburgh.
