Don't know if anyone on the forum caught the Oregon vs Oregon State game on ESPN but it was a real battle. My Ducks won the PAC-10 Championship and an invitation to the Rose Bowl! The crew of the Nauti Duck will be in Pasadena for the big game. Given the winter storms off the Oregon and California coasts we are opting to drive to the game instead of sailing the Nauti Duck down.
We cannot direct the winds but we can adjust our sails.

That would be a kick but the game is on New Year's day.
Go DUCKS! I went to Penn State, and we used to play OS regularly. Guess who I'm rootin' for!
That was a great game. Have a safe journey and a great time, Randy. I'll be lookin' for you in the stands - you're the guy with the pirate flag, right?

Randy, I will be in town, Newport Beach, so if you want to sail while in SoCal, weather permitting, let me know. Love to take you out in PiSeas II. Steve A

I'll connect with you as we get closer to the date. We don't have much time down there but it would be fun.
We had a great trip despite the loss to the Buckeyes. I see why people live in SoCal with it being about 70 degrees and sunny on the 1st of January. On the other hand the traffic......
The game was good but in the end Pryor had a great game and the Ducks had a critical turnover at the end zone. We'll get 'em next year!!

I looked for you on the TV in that crowd but there were a lot of people. Your post gave me a great interest in the game and cheered for the Ducks. Still have had problem of getting on the Forum but seems to be working. I have to also let you know about my axle problem (later)
