It's odd that they do not show the boat sailing, in any of the photos. It must really fly along! But maybe the "sailors" who are interested in this boat prefer it docked somewhere.
Here's the photo of the yacht that I wanted. It looks boring! No heel! No spray in your face! And especially too many good satellite TV shows to watch in the cabin.
I kinda like the no-heel aspect of cats. They have a shallow draft for getting into spots others can't. Plus you can leave the wine on the table even in quarter seas! The room-- it's amazing how much. Personally, I like this cat from lagoon, it's their newest model; probably 1.5mil at least. Check out the rear cabin sliders on each hull-- http://www.cata-lagoon.com/620_pres_uk.php?type=i
I definitely prefer monohulls for racing (and "sailing" in general), but I admit that cats do promote a better quality of life at sea - and the crowd I bareboat with wont let me go back to a mono...

But it was still a smoother ride than the prior year's 41' mono where we were trying to convince my pit guy to go below and cut us some cheese & sausage for snacks while on the outside in 6'.

Rita & I looked seriously at a Gemini 105 about a year ago. We realized we'd have to sell our house to really be able to afford it, which isn't as bad an idea as it might sound. Eventually I'd like to get a catamaran to retire onto (notice I said "I", Rita's not exactly sold on this idea). She really hates it when we heel, and for that a cat definitely fits the bill. We took the 105 out in a blow on purpose, it was snowing & raining and not pleasant at all. The point of the drill was to let her see what it would be like in nasty weather. It was uncomfortable, but not scary (to me), she wasn't terrified (like she has been on SL), so I think we've crossed one hurtle. Even about 25 knot winds, the boat still didn't heel all that much and the ride was dramatically different than a mono. We were supposed to go to the BVI several years ago to spend 10 days sailing, but surgery intervened, and we've never made the attempt to go back yet. Maybe this year.

When you see that much floor and ceiling that close, it's gotta be a funny lens.
