Has anyone had experience sailing on Lake Chelan in Washington State? We're thinking about a trip there over the summer and would like some practical advice on launch ramps, wind conditions, depths, etc.

I've only sailed dingys and waterskied on Chelan, but it's a beautiful lake. There's also a fleet of San Juan 21's on the lake. Being a very long and narrow lake the wind typically runs the length of it, so I'd imagine a long cruise beating up the lake and running back down would be what you're in for. In the summer it typically blows out of the north and can get very windy at times. There's a great dock at the north head of the lake too, and not much else up there. I know there's a couple ramps, I don't know if there's a lift. I doubt it. And the lake is very deep and clear early in the year, almost blue like lake Tahoe. And cold:)
