I have a 28' mast...is that standard or concidered a tall rig?

You've got a standard rig ... a tall rig is 30ft.

I had the same question on our boat. Aside from measuring the mast length, I discovered that if you measure the depth of the mast slot from the inside edge, if it's 3/4", you have a standard rig. If it's 1/2", you have a tall rig. The extrusions are apparently different for the two masts.
