<br />Not so much ugly as sad...<hr height="1" noshade id="quote"></font id="quote"></blockquote id="quote">After all, it's a Catalina (C-27).<hr height="1" noshade id="quote"></font id="quote"></blockquote id="quote">Did they change the forward hatch?<hr height="1" noshade id="quote"></font id="quote"></blockquote id="quote">Ya, I think they moved it forward around 1988-89 when they made other changes similar to those on the C-25 at that time.

Wow john, that boat should be named "Weekend Project" or something like that. It looks like it has "work" written all over it. Good Luck!!

Whoa... Do I see exposed glass mat there? Barnacles are one thing, but exposed mat is another. If you're not fairly experienced with fiberglass repairs and restoration, make sure to get some advice from someone who is and who can see that up close.

OK, here's the ultimate. Does it "sail"? Well, check the "sail area" on this baby...

...and note the mall and restaurant district, with brick buildings, trees, gardens,... God, save me! BTW, all those people who book the cheaper inside rooms overlooking the shopping mall instead of the ocean--good luck with keeping all that food down!

You and <s>5,000</s> 8,000 of your closest friends. Hey, where's the swim-up bar?

Coming in just over 225,000 gross tons and $1.4 billion (billion with a "b"), it's pretty incredible that something that large and heavy can float and be stable.

I think I'll take my 25 foot sailboat and a cold beer any day of the week.

Edit: Excuse me, I was off by about 3,000 people

If you want to stay at a 10 story hotel near a shopping mall, I think I'd prefer Vegas. IMO this is a sign of more money than sense.
