Hi team,
Where should my boards be placed. I know.. under the boat...
But to be more specific, measuring out from center at rear, how far. measure forward x feet from rear, how far from center.
I just bought the boat and hoist and want to make certain that previous owner set it up properly.
It did not come with a trailer. Trailer dimensions would be a good analogy.
Thanks
Jim

Come on guys.. someone must have an idea. Maybe Catalina has a wide margin of error. Would like to be in the sweet spot so as not to deform the hull.

I would locate on the bulkheads fore and aft. That is where my trailer pads were set to support the boat. IF you are using bunks, than make sure they at least reach from the rear bulkhead to the front bulkhead. I have measurements of my trailer I can email to you, just send me an email requesting (joearcht@jwha.net)
