I would like to know the pros and cons of this inflatable dinghy from West Marine. Buy or not buy? Thanks.

Frank, It has a great warrenty and I like that it rolls up for easy storage. How will you use it? I have a 9.5' that comfortably seats 4 and will use up to a 6hp engine, which was important to me for my use.

It's pretty close to what I have Frank. Mine is actually a bit shorter (8ft) even but will handle my girlfriend, myself and a 60 lb dog (total weight 350 lbs or so) pretty well. I've got a 2 1/2 outboard that will plane the tender out with only myself on board. I wouldn't put a bunch of weight in the guarantee,probably nothing would go wrong in the first 5 years unless it was a defect and I'm sure there'd be a 1 or 2 year manufacturer guarantee. I might look at ebay and then other boat sites, local marinas for a good used one.

Frank, try Defender.com. They are having a great sale. Check out this [url="http://www.defender.com/product.jsp?path=-1|215570|217766&id=1252843"]one[/url]. Its a 9' for $529! They have others as well.
