My PO had a stereo head unit hanging in the Q-berth, it looked sloppy. I installed this one in the fake drawer. I no longer use that seacock for the galley drains so I figured I'd make use of the space. Countersunk into 2 pieces of finished wood so the door closes. Ipod cord comes out through the Port settee.

How did the PO arrange the speakers? Two inside and two outside?

He had 2 KLH plastic bookshelf style speakers mounted on the inside of the tracks for the crib boards so he could face them in or out. I didnt like them there, I'd like to mount them on the stern rail with some kind of quick release mechanism not sure what to do about the wires. I was thinking of running them through the vent hoses, but i guess that might be dangerous? PO has the coax cable for vhf running thru there. For the cabin, the PO before last PO had installed 6" speakers in the port and starboard lockers. I picked up some kenwoods at bestbuy for 50 bucks and installed them, they sound great.
