Just got back from it... Quite the annual spectacle! Checkout line stretching 200' or so to about 20 registers... Vendor booths like a boat show... A quarter acre of inflatables and outboards up to a 28' RIB with twin 150s... I got out for the lowest total in years--didn't even need paint. It's best to show up in the afternoon when people are leaving--in the morning you'll likely park out on the highway.
Saturday afternoon was not too busy, and the sale items were plentiful. I got a Dr LED sternlight for $30 and a dockline snubber for $7!
Thankfully, I did not make a special trip some 65 miles each way. Today was our US Power Squadron Spring Conference in Groton CT, so my Education Officer and I stopped in on our carpool ride home.
