No, Dave, if you're concerned about the number, Paul can probably reset it. Or, you can start over with a new name like Hopper did. Ya know, something like Stinkpotting Curmudgeon, or Curmudgeon Emeritus but, whatever you do, don't leave this forum.

I say your $22.00 should be waived for the next year! GO DAVE! lets see, If it takes you say 1 to 3 min per post, So thats 3 times 10,000...That comes to......... Geeze Dave, You have to get away from the computer!
Scott, that is a wonderful idea. I will bring it up at next weeks officers meeting. It is the least we can do for all of Dave's contributions, especially on this forum. I am sure he will get 46 posts between now and next week. Go Daaaaaaaaaaaave! Steve Auerbach, Treasurer
Years ago I tried a new name, partly for simpler identification, and somebody (I think Duane Wolff) caught me and added my post counts from two old ones into the new. ("Pastmember" Frank got away with it.) So the current total is for a dozen-or-so years, minus a "credit" Paul or Steve gave me a while back when I was approaching six figures. That might come to around a half hour of posting per week.
As for waivers, I think I'm overdue on my last renewal... I don't know how many alumni are still paying--I have done it since I sold Passage...
But my main problem right now is my hydraulic steering that drifts to port at speed--I suspect a check-valve... Maybe I should post that topic.
Hmmm... New name? Maybe "$+!nkp*++er"? Deckhand! Time's running out...

Now I get there in a fifth the time. (I know, I know... You're "already there.") I'll consider showing some highlights in the Admiralty.
There was a redhead--now gone from us. Now there's a rather hot blonde--sorry, just one. (Sarge sleeps two, parties 10.) She has owned and raced an Etchells and a classic New York 30 (that's LWL).
I'll stand by--at least to keep the Red Viking honest...
