Well its been awhile from lloking on this forum, I have been up to my arms in new systems, plumbing, electronics, and a diesel moter to look after. I have a couple of questions for the people that move up or on....Oh we named the boat - Nauti Girl -



1. Can I change my username - Capri25 really doesn't work for me anymore, Ericson33 can work.

2. If any one is interested in looking at the progress of our new boat visit the blog at e33rh.blogspot.com, any feedback is welcome as I dive into the unknown.

3. We launch the boat in 3 weeks, new bottom, new cushions, new teak and holly floor, new headliner, new head, new plumbing systems, and a minor overhaul of the diesel.



4. I found the reason for the floor being rotten, the scupper is attached to a 1.5" hose that goes to a marlin ball valve then out of the thruhull, on the starboard side the hose was cut, or broken.....needless to say we are very lucky the boat didn't sink, glad to check over all systems, and the servey missed this small little item....

Glad to read about the Catalina, and looking forward to sailing soon..

Welcome to the Admiralty, Chris! You can change names simply by re-registering, as I, Frank "Pastmember" Hopper, and Duane "Champipple" Wolff have done. I simply copied and pasted, and then edited my signature.

Sounds like you're doing good things to that Ericson--it's a beautiful boat!

I actually didn't reregister, but had administrative rights back then and just changed it. You might send a message to Paul to see if he will just change it for you.
