I have a 1981 BF75L ouboard and would like to replace the impeller, however I cannot find an exploded view anywhere. My local library does not carry this manual, and honda's prices a a bit steep. I've searched all the threads and know about disconecting the shifter. Is the impeller located in the upper or lower section of the gearcase? If you have a picture or a manual scan of the exploded view, i would much apreciate it.

I'm going through the same process with my '84 Honda BF75L. I just ordered the repair manuals for that motor on a CD. I should have it in a week. I can let you know then. I do know the water pump housing is on top of the very bottom section of the lower unit.
