i believe i read a thread on here somewhere where someone installed a pump out and vent hose into their porta pot for easy emptying. this is something i would like to do, but i cant find the applicable thread! anyone got any info for me, or can track that thread down? it seems like it will be fairly straightforward, drill a few holes, install good connections, run hose. but where to get the stuff?

It is straightforward, but I'm not sure what you have to reference. I would not call it easy, just work. The line was easily available to me from west marine. Special line that does not carry odors and it is kinda stiff. Just ask them. Pumpout fitting on deck, and vent line to a vent opening on the hull. Lines to and from the holding tank.

I replaced my lines on my existing system and added a new head. I'm not familiar with your setup on a "porta pot".

I think Randy (Nauti Duck) did this but I couldn't find the post when I searched. He'll chime in soon.

This will allow you to have the best of both worlds:

You can find them cheaper elsewhere on the net I'm sure . . .

Anyone ever calculate beer output as opposed to beer intake?

We did this project and it has worked great. The C250 is configured differently than your C25 but the installation basics are the same. The MSD came with adequate directions for setting this up. Keep the vent hose as short as possible and as vertical as possible. FYI we use Odorlos in the MSD and there is no smell in the head.

Let me know if you need the photos up-sized. Shutterfly shrinks them after 6 months.
