Last night I was out on R dock at Bay View Marina and noticed that my boat is now flanked by two forum member boats, I have djdurrett on my port side and brrit on my starboard side.

Including our three boats there are four C-25's in a row, wonder if the other boat is a forum member as well.

There's one other forum member in my marina, he came up and introduced himself one day, but for some reason I wasn't able to socialize with him at the time. I've never seen him down there since (however, it's not like SL's even been in the water in six months, so there hasn't been opportunity).

Yeah I've talked to Bryan a couple times but never met him. Darren and I have raced together on my friend's C-27 and he's new to the marina. He just recently got his c-25. I suspect we'll get a lot of sailing in this season. He reached out to me when he first got his boat through email, real good guy. His hull number is 30 away from mine, his is a 79 TR/FK as well but he has the pop top.

Chris (I'm pretty sure that was his name) has a C-25, not sure of the vintage, he's about 5-6 berths further down the fairway from me. I don't know his boat name, I keep trying to remember so I can look him up, but like I said, I haven't been to my marina other than for our bi-yearly work party in six months.

Peter,

I was pretty pumped when I got the call! I have been out of town the last week but plan to be out there a bunch this week. It will be fun to have a bunch of 25's together!

Small world. Now I'm excited for Peter to help the other C-25s install the cabin top sheeting system... Just kidding, but that is so cool!

See you guys on the water!

Actually I am totally down to help you guys with projects like that. Best to do it at sunrise though as that heat is brutal.

BTW, we have a moon light sail and raft up planned for this Saturday this weekend. Plus there's the race Saturday at 7PM. We should take all the boats and our guests to the south side of the lake, raft them up in the cove, select one boat and race it. So far we have mine and Darren's C-25's and Keelan's C-27...

Peter, I was too late for the race but tried to find you guys. I left my phone in my truck but tried to raise you on the vhf. We ended up anchored by the red barn. Did you race? How about that big moon?

Dang I had my VHF on, were you on Channel 69? We were too late to race as well.

Saturday morning we re reigged my traveler to take advantage of the two winches I'm not using on the cabin top. We also rebedded one of my cockpit winches and greased it as well as tightened up some stanchions.

I met the guy in the C-25 next to Brrit's. Nice guy, just bought it. So now we have 4 C-25's in a row.

Once we got done with the work, we hit the pool. It was hot! At about 4PM, we took the C-27 and my C-25 out beating south across the lake, head sails only. We were headed to burnt Bridge(Porno cove but I hate that name, we call it Burnt Bridge) cove, but it was taking too long tacking across the entire lake so we went to Chilton's Cove. Great night with a full moon. Here are some pics.

We ended up hitting Chilton's Cove. It was Joint Venture and Stepahnos and then Brad showed up in Benetau 320 and took some of these pics. Sorry we missed you, this weekend should be big on the lake. Joan Jett is playing for free at the park next to the marina on 7/3. We'll have to hook up. Also looking at doing a night sail Tuesday night. I won't be racing Wednesday.

Look at Keelan's massive floatie aft of our boats. it was awesome.

Check out the moonlight, it was awesome.

I love it. We need to get all these C-25's racing!

We had a night regatta last weekend that would have been great fun, full moon, but alas LeeKee was on the hard.

That's when you crew on another boat!

Yeah, we're trying to set up raft ups anytime there's a full moon weekend. What's a good website to predict full moons on weekends?

BTW, I have some video too that I shot with my Kodak Zi3 water proof Hi def camera. If it's not too crazy I'll post it here.

We had the small jib up and full main. We were really sailing well up and down the lake till about midnight. I saw the benetau out there with a little bit of genoa rolled out. Sailed a few circle around them and went on our way. Great wind that night! I checked the burt bridge and didn't see yall so I figured you were further south.

<< What's a good website to predict full moons on weekends? >>

My calendar (Paper) has the phases listed.

http://fullmooncalendar.net/

I've tried to go out on the Full Moons, and our running group has a run every full moon. ( Hash House Harriers )
