Totally not C25 related I'm afraid but there may be a chance of picking up a Hunter 33.5 at a fair price. It seems in reasonable shape. I've looked online but was just wondering if any of you had any knowledge or had a sail in one of them.

It represents their pre-wacko-era styling and has a backstayed rig (instead of the dubious B&R). Most of what I've said in the past about Hunters probably does not apply.
Thanks Dave. I appreciate the feedback. That's kind of the impression I formed when I looked at her. She looks more 'Catalina' like rather than the modern Hunter's.
Friends of ours have a huner 28 from about then. It has double spreaders IIRC, and the extra weight aloft is a problem for them. Also, if you will be bringing the mast down regularly, the extra set of spreaders is a problem.
The boat has just had a survey (out of the water) and a full antifoul. The overall score was average. There are a few issues, such as bilge pump and battery wiring, defective fridge, autopilot etc and she does look like new sails may be needed sooner rather than later. However overall she looks in pretty fair condition inside and out. Pricing for parts and sails doesn't seem too bad at all for this type of boat. I have (tried to) attach a picture. The price is $25k U.S. which seems to be much less than market value.
I disagree. Right now there are a lot of boats at auction or for sale by folks that NEED the money, plenty of good boats at 1/2 price. And with everything that's wrong with this boat I'd take my time and look around or maybe offer them 20K or something.
ps, Oh and to be fair, up in the NE where the per-capita income is 2 or 3 times what it is here in FL it may be a good price. But not here :^)
Jonathan, that is a very nice, clean looking boat. Good luck. Steve A PS, I like your boat name. Similar to mine. Are you going to keep it but make it Pie Sees 3?
Thanks for the input guys and yes Steve if we can do a deal it will be Pie Sees 3! Owner doesn't want to budge lower than $25k U.S. but I think that's pretty fair for what I would be getting.
