In the event no one replies to this today - you might fire off an e-mail to kent@catalinayachts.com in the interim . . . he's pretty prompt and will probably send you a diagram in a pdf format.

FWIW, I made a temporary hatch board out of Luan plywood, cheap and you can cut it with a razor knife dockside.

Good luck.

I would guess that the different C-25 molds and finishing production would make it necessary to custom fit the hatch boards.

If you generally leave your boat unlocked, then whoever walked off with your old hatch boards now knows where he/she can pick up a new set! That is the M.O. of crooks who steal car batteries from old cars with easy to open hood latches! They steal the old battery first and the brand new battery the next day.

I just made new ones for my 84. Catalina Direct wanted 370 dollars for the boards. I bought some material called Plasteak. A 12 foot 1X10 was about 66 dollars. Catalina direct has diagrams in their catalog. On mine the angle is 11 degrees from 90.

Using the 1x10 material, did you have to make 4 boards? On mine, the total height is almost 32 inches.

Yes. I used my router to make the boards overlap and I had four boards when I was done. I'm is the process of replacing the threshold board in the companion way right now. Google Plasteak and you can find out about this material

So, what would you charge to make a set for me? I don't have access to a router. Be glad to take measurements of my boards and send them to you. Since we both have 84's, my measurements should be very close to yours, but I expect that there are some differences.

Let me get back to on that. I'm still working on my boat and want to make sure that they fit right, and all of the angles are right. Do you have access to a talbe saw?
