...has anyone else installed the pop-top assist to find the original posts come unscrewed? Should I use loctite or move them a bit and reattach? I'm thinking perhaps my original measurements may have been off a bit and the resulting piston pressure has caused the screws to come out. Other than this, I love how easily the top goes up and have to seriously tug on it when I want to bring it down.

Suggestions?

My original screws were loose on two posts. I squirted
( 3M™ Marine Adhesive/Sealant Fast Cure 4200)
4200 onto the screw holes and put the screws back in. So far, which has only been about a year or two, they have held.

We just put one in this summer. As long as the screws are just coming unscrewed but the tapped holes are still ok, we'd go with the loctite.

Moving the mounting holes would screw up the geometry of the thing unless both the holes in the cabin top and the holes in the pop top were moved.

Good luck - they are really nice.
