I want to thank Richard Geist and Ed Montague for sharing their trip to the 2002 West Coast Catalina Rendezvous in the current Mainsheet magazine. See pages 6 & 7 of the Nov. issue. This is the third story in four issues that our members have had an article featured in the front of the magazine. THANK YOU!! The deadline for the Feb. issue is the first week of December. Let me know if you have had a great trip or a memorable experience that you would like to share with the Catalina community. As you can see from the other posts many of us are desperate for a good winters sailing tale. The C25/C250 membership is one of the biggest and most active associations featured in the magazine. The entire Catalina community will enjoy your adventures. If you feel you are not a writer please send me some notes and I will gladly help put them into print, OH and don’t forget the photos. The Mainsheet will be glad to publish a pict or two with the article. Use the e-mail address found under my profile or on the Officers page of the Association's web site. I would love to read the article. But I just figured out I did not get the last 2 issues of the Mainsheet Magazine. Does anyone know who I can contact about this.

If you are a paid up member you should get your Mainsheet issues. I'm sure Ed will see to it. As the editor of the magazine I hope every member gets an opportunity to read the articles and to contribute to the magazine.
