Ugly Boats, 12yo children at Sea.... I'm not gonna be able to sleep. What's next, the Man Eating Sharks, or the Buffet at the Holiday Inn..

I'm ready to hear more from the Texans.

Wish I could make this better, but unfortunately it's worse.

Saturday we were having a nice sail and we had just dipped the rail in the water when *RIP* . Yep, right at the foot and the clew I have a nice rip running parallel to the boom. Took the main down immediately and ran head sail alone which was slow as hell but at least it gave me time for a scotch on the rocks and a nice cigar.

Peter, you can thank that harken magic box outhaul for that! I have heard of guys breaking their booms with those! Just tell everyone you have a loose footed main... its faster anyway! I always easy my outhaul before storing the main... wish I had an extra! BTW, you should see the spinn I got. It is crispy and ready for the fall series!

Powers knows how to deal with adversity...

There I was, There I was... Tornadoes spinning on the horizon, the Marina had just exploded and a raging fire was consuming the docks. Over the radio they were hailing a 12yo, rusting at sea. Man Eating Sharks I tell ya, and the main had ripped the foot...

I selected a fine scotch and a nice cigar....
