I am sorry to report that Paul Alcock is giving up his office of association secretary.

Paul has been the association secretary for several years and has done a great deal to make improvements.
The good news is Paul will remain as association webmaster.

With the association officer election starting next week, we urgently need the following nominations:
- Secretary
- Chief Measurer
- Capri-25 Measurer

If you are interested in volunteering as an association officer
(or know someone who is) please submit a nomination.

Mark Hammett, a Capri-25 owner from Plymouth, MN has been nominated for association secretary.
We are still looking for a Chief Measurer and Capri-25 Measurer.

Russ, you gave me a bit of a start since the last we heard form Paul was that he was on the Biscayne Bay with more wind than anticipated.

CAPRI 25 MEASURER: The Capri 25 Measurer shall maintain the Design Class Rules in conjunction with the Chief Measurer. The Capri 25 Measurer shall, in the absence of the Chief Measurer, preside and perform the duties of the Chief Measurer, and such other duties as specified by the Chief Measurer.


<i>*The "Vice Chairman of the NOC" means he/she works with the Vice Commodore (currently me) to find a qualified host for the Nationals, and now, regionals should local fleets make a bid.
The Chief Measurers do not had to travel to the Nationals if they are not able to, but avail themselves via phone or e-mail to the host, should questions arise at the venues.</i>
