Anybody have any advice on how to remove the 'green' mold growing on my '250 hatch cover (cloth) I tried scrubbing with soap and water with limited results.

I haven't tried this, so take it with a grain of salt. A weak bleach solution in your washer combined with regular detergent might just do the trick. However, if your cover is old & sun faded, this is probably not a good idea as you're likely to end up with tatters instead of a cover.

Dye the cover green to match? - LOL
Add OxyClean to the soap/water mix, or bleach as indicated above.

Have you tried Soft Scrub with bleach. Do a test underneath first. It has removed mold on mine.

I don't recommend using Soft Scrub on cloth (don't ask how I know).

If all those great ideas fail, you can make a new one pretty easily with a standard sewing machine with a "denim" or "jeans" needle and heavy duty thread on Sunbrella or a suitable substitute fabric. I made one for Kaija using the old one as a pattern. Pretty simple sewing. I used a cheaper fabric (I dare anyone to tell it apart from Sunbrella) that I got from Lee Sailcovers when I bought my mainsail cover.

I'd wonder how the mold came to be there in the first place??? Does the hatch cover have a lot of sag which causes it to hold water?

David, I have used it with success but I went to their site and the closest material I can find to match is clothing. However Soft Scrub's web site does NOT recommend any of their products for this use. I stand corrected. Thanks.
Thats why I suggested to try on back on small corner first. Of course they recommend not speeding, but do I listen!

I've seen green mold growing on items in the kitchen sink - but never on a hatch cover . . . at least one that I've owned.
