Jarred bought this vent. I mailed it to him yesterday.
This solar vent has a slight clicking noise and so I replaced it with a new solar vent. The new solar vent had the same hole cut but had to utilize a new base housing and so I removed the old base housing that goes with the old vent. I do not believe I have the installing instructions but I still have the original box...so maybe the instructions are in there...otherwise, you are on your own. All you need besides cutting the proper size hole and putting down a bead of silicone around the hole to mount the base to the deck would be a rechargeable battery and pay for shipping it. Not sure what shipping would cost but $10 should take care of it. If it costs more to ship, then you will have to pay the addl. if it is less than $10, then that is the handling fee for taking it down to the post office. if you do not like the clicking noise, well then you can fiddle with it or don't install it. It is not that loud...nothing that would annoy a person during the daytime. But at night, if you are a light sleeper, then it may be annoying.
Sorry - Your EMail must have been in my spam folder and I just deleted what was there. Please send again...I'll watch more carefully. By the way, I was checking the box that I happened to still have and it is a Day/Night 2000 Model Nicro and I have the installation instructions.
