Being a member (at the free level) of the West Marine loyalty card, I get a $5 coupon every time I spend X boat units at their store.
This week I received a special invitation, along with zillions of their closest loyal customers, for their private sale next weekend.

I plan on checking prices on ball-fenders at that time to see whether the cents off deal is better than Defender's normal price.

What items are you thinking about purchasing at West Marine?

I've got almost enough in gift cards and coupons to get the one I want.

Hey, wait a second. I haven't gotten the "private sale" invitation. I even belong to BoatUS and get the double points. Maybe I haven't spent enough lately.

Randy, must be my problem too. I havent got that much this past year but have given them plenty of business in the past. Maybe they will mail my invite next week!

Wonder where my invitation is also. Randy, I'm making my list for the next cruise. I'll bet we won't be able to stop by as there are going to be 3 or 4 couples traveling with us. I remember pulling into a gas station in Eugene with 7 rigs and we plugged up the station and with your street parking we would cause a problem. The cold weather here has people looking ahead to next season.

Yepper.... My rule is I can't buy anything new until I install the stuff I've already bought. Got the 100amp fuse next to the battery installed this weekend and the bolt cutters are now on the boat.

I got the invitation and it's in the garbage. Nov 5-7 10% off after your first $100. Things are usually 10% more at West Marine anyway

PortSupply is typically 10% or more off the WestMarine price. When I need to get something at a bricks-and-mortar store, I use that.
