I just realized that I spent a couple of hours yesterday getting the boat covered and ready for winter. Tonight, I just realized I left the porta-potti on board. Damn! One more trip to the marina. No, I'm not going to risk freezing the contents.

You don't how close I came to doing the same. The potty is now in a heated shop as I get ready to do the task. Wonder how cold it would have to get to reduce the flow or turn to ice?
Usually, water have to be trap into enclosed area to crack it's container when it freeze. If the water level have room to vary, you will be fine. My ice cube tray in my fridg is made out of plastic, and it doesn't crack every time ...

The truth is, I'm more concerned over the "clean" side of the water tanks. The holding tank is nearly empty. Probably the worst part is that I did a particularly good job of lacing up the back of the tarp.
