Now, was anybody looking at where the boat was going, or where any other boats were? Just curious... <hr height="1" noshade id="quote"></font id="quote"></blockquote id="quote">
Yes of course, strangely there were only a couple boats in our part of the lake and nothing at all in front or beside us. There was a big race a couple miles south of us by Rush Creek but we pretty much had the lake to ourselves. The camera is a hand held I don't have to look through the view finder to take good videos. (Not saying that is a real good video.)
In 1979 I got a divorce, sold everything I had, quit my engineering job and went to work on a sailboat in the Eastern Caribbean. Best decision I ever made and I'm still doing it. I am presently at Aqua Harbor on the Tenn-Tom waterway heading south to the Gulf just for starters.
I have been living and working in the boating business all these years and still going. There are LOTS of ladies that will go with you and or meet you along the way. Trust me on this.
Follow your dream, pack it in and get out here. Be just as intolerant.
My wife hates the healing of the boat and only sails with me when the wind is at its lightest. I love sailing too much to give it up because she can't sail in all conditions. I have therefore been single handing for some 22 years. Over that time my wife has encouraged me to add a significant amount of equipment to make single handing as easy and safe as possible. Our accomodation is that when I'm out cruising, she generally drives to my various ports of call and stays on the boat in the marina and we sight-see. It's worked well for us.
