This is the largest event every year on Canyon Lake with entrants from all over Texas and even some from Oklahoma. In Saturday's 2 races the wind was miserable - zero gusting to 2! We started with the N-S "A" fleet (PHRF's under 214) and with a great light air boat beat all the A fleet over the finish line! In the 2nd race on the last downwind leg we caught a bare minimum of a wind line and basically drifted past the A fleet and the Big Boat fleet who had started 5 mins ahead of us - very enjoyable! The 3rd race was cancelled due to lack of wind... On Sunday we had 2 races with good wind, up to 12k and we won both of those. It sure is a blessing to have great crew, they make the skipper look good! This is the 4th year in a row that we have won our fleet.
