I can't think of stuff I want. Really I want more daylight, and warm enough temps to work on the boat. Maybe a competent helper for a week or four.
Lets see. I need to do the window thing, and get around to re-bedding the stanctions. I need to rewire the mast. I need to refinish a bunch more teak, and re-cetol the stuff I refinished last year. I need to do some more wiring. I need to update the Iris blog that still doesn't have all of this summer recorded. I want to build a liquor cabinet and a bookshelf.
I need time, and energy and whatever else it takes to get all that done.
I'm up to the stick myself. Other things call. I'm lucky as the boat stays in the water and it is not so cold. I am, however, pretty much resolved to doing the projects myself. Helpers don't seem to be on the horizon. Rope halyard sheaves. Holding tank vent relocation. Re-secure the holding tank. Additional flooring support. Outboard bracket block replacement. Anchor, deck, steaming light. Stove/oven. Replace bilge hose. Remove water tank. Stereo.
My Christmas list is expanding. The only things on it WERE self tailing winches, replace adj backstay, and spinlock clutches.
Now I need to add halyard sheaves (top and bottom), new plastic to replace the teak (I know sacrilege), fiberglass and resin for the leaky toe rail (aka hole you can see daylight thru), electronics (repair preferred over replacement)...
Clapper activated fireplace, Candle holders, Wine rack, big fluffy pillows, ice bucket, Haagen Daaz, waterfall effects sound machine, and of course, that bale of hay....
