I love the way something so small and simple really makes such as difference. Its just one step closer to putting the boat back together the way it should be. Hope everyone elses application turns out so good!

Patrick,
I was actually going to ask if you had saved any files that matched the thickness of the outer edge of the original plastic logo. My sign maker friend (and sailor) says he has a laser that can cut vinyl lettering down to a hairline thickness.
But, after seeing yours I think it's actually easier to read and will be more durable because there's more adhesive surface sticking to the coaming.

Our fleet is getting together in a couple weeks for the annual holiday party. I hope I can get mine cut by then as I'm sure many other C25 owners will want them for their boat as well.

I just talked with my sign friend and he asked if you can save this file in Adobe Illustrator EPS for Windows.

You must not have seen the thread below. You can download it to a disk and take it to your local sign maker or give them the URL so they can download it.

I am having a hard time visualizing what the eyelet is for to the left of your logo....

Duane, the DPO's put a kagillion eyestraps like that all over the outside of the cockpit coming. the only thing I can figure is that they were for a cockpit cover, which would also explain why the cushions had rotted inside without any ventilation!

OJ, I will upload a new file to the same link http://www.proxycreative.com/clients/catalina that is called catalina_logo_win.eps that should work for you. Illustrator EPS files are cross platform these days the only difference is the preview saved as a pict (mac) or tiff (pc). I hope it works, let me know. Also, there is the third version, that you mention, that will be the outline version (If any of you prefer to layer vinyl, I'll create a larger one and then the inner one for that effect, but only if someone requests it!) I think the thick one is best for visibility and, as OJ said, more adhesive. The greatest part about these done in vinyl is that is you screw them up or they come off, you can easily replace them locally.

Look for the second and third versions!
