Strange things do happen. It's warmed up to where we're sitting on 60 degrees right now, and it's only 10:30 AM. We're getting ready for some out of town family to come for dinner, so no lake time today, unfortunately. And of course, there just has to be a brisk wind today as well!

I think we'll peak at 65 here today. Just glad we weren't traveling to the NE at Christmas. Tough to hear what those folks had to deal with. Daughter and her new husband spent Christmas in Grand Rapids with his sister's family, thankfully, they are safely back home without incident.

It is unseasonably warm here as well. A lot of our snow is melting, adn the yard is a mudpit.

We hit 46 (8C) here in Western CT today -- first time since before Thanksgiving. Tomorrow, hopin' for 50. I hear the rainbow and brown trout are bitin' wet flies up in the Farmington River north of here.... Good day for getting lost.
