I have been searching this site and various forums re:C250WB we are looking to purchase. The facts and potential solutions to various issues we are finding with this used boat have made it so much easier to consider buying her. We will join just based on the two days we have spent here finding peace of mind!

Thanks to all of you who post your experience(s), solutions and results. Because of your great work here we are enjoying the concept of a used boat. The only other used sailboat in our history was an Oxford dinghy. Nothing to go wrong there!

You won't regret your choice. BUT (that's a big BUT), the standard recommendation on this forum is to never buy a used boat without a survey first. It'll be the best $400 you'll spend on the boat. The peace of mind it provides is worth the price. Good luck and welcome to the association.

And if she's over 10 years old, some insurers require a survey.
