Good news!!!

The bottom inspection went well. The furry green carpet vanished immediately with the power sprayer, revealing light blue paint underneath. Inspection of all the thru hulls was good. And the hull delivered a nice, sound rapping all over. No soft spots and NO BLISTERS! We're good to proceed, so now it's paperwork, registration and money. I'll start a new thread once we're all done and I have the hull number, so I can pay my dues and join the association! I'll have more pictures to post as well.
