IMO, best addition to the boat yet. Helps a ton with washing dishes and your hands. It's a FloJet 2.9gph 50psi 12v RV pump and a fixture from Lowes. Even though it's automatic shutoff, I think I'm still going to leave it on a switch so it's off while I'm gone. Can't wait to do the other one.

I keep mine off unless I'm using the water. I presume it draws a little current to detect the pressure that shuts it off. I love it--it also flushes my head.
Yes, that one is located under the sink. I'll buy another for the forward sink. I plan to mount a switch under each sink so they don't get constant power.
Nice to have pressure water. I did the same thing last year with a spray nozzle at the galley sink and a tall swivel spout opposite the head. I also put in a transom spray shower. I mounted a pressure pump on the wall that separates the aft side of the water tank and ran the electric to the switch panel to shut it off when we aren't on the boat. You can wash anything easily in the sink with the pull out spray nozzle and the aft shower is great after a swim in the salt water. By putting the pump in the line coming out of the tank you only need one pump that will service all the faucets.
^^^I tend to get them dirty in all kinds of ways. <blockquote id="quote"><font size="1" face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica" id="quote">quote:<hr height="1" noshade id="quote"><i>Originally posted by islander</i> <hr height="1" noshade id="quote"></font id="quote"></blockquote id="quote"> I like this mod. I'm not seeing the salt right now, but I'd like to rig up an outdoor shower for overnighters. It should be pretty easy to tap into the new galley pump line. Now all I need is hot water. lol
