This has probably been asked before, but the Forum home page lists sites for "C25 specific" and "C250 specific". It says that C25's are from 1977 to 1990 and C250's are from 1994 thru today. What happened in 1991, 1992 and 1993? Were these boats not built by Catalina? Just curious.
My next questions involves how to access forum topics older than one month? No matter how may total topics are listed, I can only seem to see those posted in the past 29 days. There is probably a simple answer, but I'm at a loss.

Thanks in advance.

Re. the in between years ('91-'93)

I suspect that during the in between years Catalina didn't make a 25 foot boat. Others might be able to explain their reasoning.

Re. Topics greater than 29 or 30 days

On the master forum page, the page that lists the forums, in the upper left cornor is pop down window that allows us to select the criteria that we would like use to select topics to be shown. Check it and try some of the other options.

Hi Tom,

Why the gap in boat designs???? Between the Gulf War, a country wide economic bust, and an excise tax on "luxury" products - Frank Butler at Catalina told me that he didn't sell any C25s for three years. When he asked dealers what the problem was, they said that Hunter and Macgregor were "killing" them with new water balasted boats. Hence the C250.
