My neighbor manages a replating/refinishing company. He reanodized my aluminum window frames a few years back and they still look like new. I know the process involved immersing the frames into a tank and I think there may have been an electical charge induced. Second biggest challenge is finding someone who has a 30' +/- long tank. First biggest challenge of course is delivering the mast there. I think painted masts also have an electrical charge induced or they're baked or even powder coated. Maybe a epoxy paint? If you have external halyards you may want to convert them to internal to reduce some of the chaffing. Good luck and share with us if you find a viable remedy.
Re-anodizing the mast may be a hassle and expensive. Probably the lower cost alternative is painting. There are various how-to articles on that project that you can find with a little research. I have seen it done by an owner before. The boom is a relatively inexpensive item from Catalina Direct. It may be worth it to you to just purchase a new one.
