Just a heads up for anyone looking around at binoculars... I just picked up WM's Aruba 7x50--very compact, light, waterproof, bright, clear, good field... (with no compass or stabilizing)--on sale for a few more days at $129 (reg. $249). Easy eyepiece adjusters for glasses, limited lifetime warranty... I've been looking for a while, and this seems to be an excellent value. There's also a sale on the bigger, heavier, less expensive Raiateas, but for a little more, I decided the Arubas were substantially nicer and seem to go on sale more rarely. [ /commercial ]
