In case anyway is looking at buying the Bimini Genoe Track Cars to mount their bimini on, I just received the ones I ordered from Catalina Direct last week.
Looking at the picture online I was concerned the cars were light weight and would not hold up over time. After receiving them I can say they are very beefy and should last a looonnngg time.

Glad I bought them now. <hr height="1" noshade id="quote"></font id="quote"></blockquote id="quote">
Can you post me a pic and a link to the product please?
I guess I don't understand them. The track gets wider and narrower forward and aft so you can't move the Bimini right? Are they mostly just for ease of installation?
Om '89 the tracks do get farther apart as you go forward but the track itself is straight. I only have about a foot to move back. I'm hoping the cars will allow me to move the bimini back far enough to store it against the backstay. Of course I will have to remove it and move it back behind the main sheet to do that.
The main reason I got them was so I could mount the bimini frame to the genoa tracks so the frame will attach at the proper angle. They are currently attached in a fixed position to the side of the coaming and that causes the attachment fitting to pop loose. A couple of times I've arrived at the boat to find the bimini loose on one side and the frame hanging off the side of the boat. Amazingly it hasn't done any damage.
