I've been looking at Navigation Software to use on my Macbook Pro or Macbook Air on my C250 and on the yearly charter to the San Juan's or BVI.

Research is pointing me toward "GPSNavX" and "MacENC". Is anyone using this software or know of anyone with experience using it?

Any input would be greatly appreciated...Thanks

The latest Mac OS will allow you to access an App store. I wonder if you could purchase Navionics or any other of the ipad or iphone sailing apps?

MacENC is an extremely rich program and can use a variety of chart formats, not to mention multiple plugins like radar, gribs, AIS, and of course gps. I have been using MacENC for around 5 years.
