I tried a search, but came up empty. Does anyone know where the plans for the home-brew GPS/fishfinder swingarm mount are hidden?

I got a SH 180i chartplotter and now I have an excuse to build this piece of engineering. Not that it is high-tech, but if I can steal someone else's design, maybe I can save some time and effort.

There's one in the tech tips.

I've seen pics of others. Maybe a site-wide google search of pics may bring it up.

Here is a swing-arm that's designed for a TV monitor! "C'est ben cheap!"

It might be hard to design a tilting, swing-arm holder using only oak, or maple, or teak. That one in Jonathan's posting uses a metal U-bracket for tilt, and looks really nice!

I think I might start with this mount and bolt some type of GPS mount to it. Seems for $19.99 they've done most of the hard work.

This might be even better and is cheaper -->> Swing Arm Bracket

BTW, how do you put a link into a post and just display 1 or 2 words.
