Found this picture from the official Catalina brochure and it seems there is my boat. Mine has been little tuned up since then, but I believe this is in her original condition :-)
Cool! Must have been before final inspection. Notice the word DECAL on the side of the coaming? Main has two sets of reef points also. I wonder if the owner of #5812 is also an Association member? That one is on the cover of the newer brochure.
That brochure covered a LOT of our boats and was applicable to our #2459 as well. Looks like they could have had an outboard bracket on the port side with no engine mounted just for the picture. The more interesting part of that brochure is the inside two page spread which, IIRC, has the two different interior layouts (dinette and traditional) with that "lovely" "tartan" cushion coloring. Ours (the brown and blue scheme) actually lasted and held up very well over the years.
"Our" C34 brochure for our hull #224 is hull #201, pretty close! Funny that Catalina used #701 and #201 for brochure covers. See a pattern here? :)
