We finally finished up a "restore" of our 81' Std FK earlier this spring. The sails we have are usable but have many stains and are pretty blown out. I'm not looking to spend too much money on new sails so I'm reaching out to see if anyone has some older ones in decent shape that they may wish to part with. Just looking for the main and jib.

I heard of a place called Sail Care and I was told they do miracles to your old sails or they might have used sail at very good prices.

You might try them. Does anybody in the forum used their services?

Well, after a more thorough inspection I've determined that these particular sails are just not worth spending anymore money on. Thanks for the suggestion and perhaps I'll hit them up for some used ones if they have any in stock.

Try Bacon Sails. Supposed to be really good with teh used sails.

I have used Sail Care. Sent my main off to them this past winter. I like the work they do. Cost is about 1/3 the cost of a new sail, depending on what it needs, and they will tell you if the sail is too far gone to be helped.

I have some pretty decent Tall rig sails for sale, if you don´t mind sending them to refit.

Hello all,

I just got a project C25 and it came with a lot of sailbags. I just decided to put the laziness aside and go look at what I have.

I have an extra main and a hank on 150 genoa in fairly good condition and a 100 jib needing some care.

Main has no battens, but a set costs 23.00 at Catalina Direct

Will sell all three sails as a bundle for 375.00 plus shipping.

Sails are in St. Louis MO
