For those racers out there, the Regatta Point Marina (Palmetto, Florida) is announcing their "3rd Annual River Regatta". I'm not a racer but it sure looks like fun. If anyone plans on entering and needs crew, give me a shout!

I just saw your email regarding this a few minutes ago... Sorry for the delay in responding, haven't been checking too much as it seems there is no real business at that addy recently... Anyhow, i'd love to do it, BUT it is flipping hot and we don't have built in AC, SO I would have to tear up a bunch of stuff to participate and then try to survive the heat sans AC.... and I start my Captains class two days later, so that would further complicate things...
And I would have to be in the cruising class anyway - given all of the crap we have to lug around. I too will crew, but - ya know, when you live aboard you just don't sail recreationally that much.
