Well I think I'm gonna bite the bullet and order a new balanced rudder from Don at Foss. We've exchanged emails with a few questions I had and after checking the bank account and asking a friend to supply a commercial address for cheaper shipping I'll probably order it this weekend. Gonna get some weird looks when a sailboat rudder gets delivered to a BBQ place for the cheaper shipping. I'm gonna order it undrilled and do all the mounting myself. My current rudder is the original unbalanced one and it has been ground and filled enough I think, and the thing has to weigh 100 lbs. The new rudder should be a big difference compared to the old one.
