Went through my spare parts bin today. I've got 2 Harken fiddle blocks with cam and becket, one with a 3" (76mm) large sheave and one with a 2.25" (57mm) large sheave. I brought the latter home to replace a missing screw on the cam adjustment arm. I've been using the 2.25" one, but which size do most of you use? I'm thinking of selling one of them.

Normally you will find the large one on a mainsheet because it will handle a larger softer line and the smaller one is used on the boom vang. I recently swapped mine around because I wanted a smaller lighter mainsheet and I always wear gloves anyway.
I still need to build a boom vang....only thing holding me up is the cost of those silly fiddle/cam/Beckett blocks....if you wanna cut me a deal on your smaller one......
The block is in very good to excellent condition. I had to replace one of the screws that hold the adjustable cam in place (on the left side looking at it with the cam facing you), not 100% sure that the replacement screw is stainless. It takes a #8-32 if you buy it and want to change it. Also, I put a new stainless shackle on the swivel at the bottom. You will not be disappointed.
Thanks Frank....I'd rather buy something from a member here (keep the money in the family so to speak) and get a quality product than take a chance on something cheap on ebay.
