Any one else catch the pictures of "Oracle" capsizing with the stern going up and over in San Francisco bay. Never seen anything like that before.

It was the AC45 "Oracle", not the 90 footer that capsized.

I remember when I was learning to sail, they told me if I didn't capsize a sunfish at least once, I wasn't trying hard enough. Maybe the same applies to AC45's. LOL

Could this be why the crew is wearing helmets?

I have never liked the idea of multihulls in the America's cup but.........this could be exciting. Maybe those awesome French tri's would make for an excellent cup race as well.
