I know nothing about this $5000 project boat and have no interest in the sale. Might be a great project for the right person. Found it today June 22. Good Luck Fair Winds Following Seas
IMO, this isn't a project. I'm sorry but it looks like it's somebody asking to be paid to remove the trash from her yard. Can you say hurricane? Even the cabin sole is missing. Might have a few parts worth salvaging but the boat looks like a loss. Hope it was insured.
The pictures all seem to be of a run about (Boston Whaler?), not a C-250. You see the top of the mast in one and it's on the trailer in the background in another, that's it.
Edit: Well, on my iPhone, all the pictures were of a Boston Whaler or something similar, but on a real computer, I'm seeing the remains of a C-250 WK, hull number 555 (judging by the main sail... maybe the number should have been 111 more). I think that makes it a 2001 judging by hull number 559 in our database. I don't think that's the right mast judging by the spreaders. The deck joint is simply mashed in a number of places, I'm not sure if that's even reparable. All of the stanchions are bent flat or gone completely, as is the bow pulpit. The pieces are laying on the ground but there's nothing left to weld them to, and in several cases even the bases have been torn out. The interior is not in too bad of shape considering what it's gone through, they have all the cushions except the aft berth ones, so you could use those for templates to make new ones from. The trailer isn't original, but is probably still worth close to what they're asking for the whole thing. I don't think you could turn this back into a usable C-250 without investing more than you'd pay for a similar one in decent shape, but the trailer might be worth it if you low ball them on the deal.
The boat is suitable for a Viking funeral. That's where the dead guy is put onboard. Then the boat is set on fire and allowed to sail out to sea and sink.

You can see it in the picture.
