Cheaper Than Dirt has these butane stoves on sale for $7.50 each.

I don't own one so I can't say how good they are, but at the price you almost can't go wrong.

This reminds me of those 22+/- watt electric drills or polishers that sell for too-good-to-be-true prices. I sense the vendor is out solely to dupe naive shoppers looking to purchase their first hand power tool.

All the pollution that is created just mining the raw materials to build junk - only to let it sit on a shelf unused and/or later pitch it into a landfill. Sometimes I feel my head is going to explode.

Speaking of exploding - does UL Listed apply to propane devices?

Notice how the butane bottle sticks out of the back of the unit. These things are SMALL. That said, I have bought from the company before and have always had good service from them.

Watch out you don't blow yourself up! Dirt cheap - you get what you pay for.
My Chinese unit, so far, has held up fine.
I'd like to find a Japanese-manufactured unit.
Mine works fine, but I'm always checking for bad connections.
