The PO ran into the pier and ripped the pulpit off the deck. It made 4 holes. I need to repair the holes and screw it back down. So in a few words what do I use and how do I fix it.

Thanks

Thinking about this, I have a "West Marine" store in Norfolk, VA and I will just go there and see what they recommend for the repair.

I trued to delete this post but it will not let me.

I can recommend Don Casey's book: Hull and Deck repair. It has helped me a few times.
good luck!

And if you review videos on youtube you can learn alot about fiber glass/gel coat repairs before you even start your repair.

Dremmel out the holes some to clean up any rough edges. Cut wider as you go down. You want to cut out down to clean resin. If you can see a gap between the liner and the deck you can put some epoxy putty into the gap if needed. You want your resin you are about to add to run into the gap (and the wood core) some, as this makes it stronger.

Duct tape the bottom of the holes. Inject this stuff in with a syringe
( add some whitener to the mix ).

Repeat. It may run into the liner gap.

I used it recently and I was very happy with it. Easy to mix. 50/50.
